I have my hair cut with George Akkad/Elite Stylist on 12th Jan. I have been using George’s services now more than 15 years and last few years at Harrods, London. I found , George is highly professional with highest level of skills and mastery in the field, the reason didn’t change my stylist for the past 15 years. I also note George’s meticulous preparation for the hair cut and making sure the client is comfortable. Absolutely fantastic service. Also thankful to all other staff at Harrods Hair Saloon who provide amazing service, including providing a nice cup of tea and head massage.

George has been cutting my hair for about 10 years now, and I can never let anyone else cut it now. (Twice someone has, and I was devastated when I saw the result…!) The first time I met George I had more of a lion cut, with layers. He asked if he could do “as he pleased”, and I thought (albeit a little scared because women and their hair - at least in my case) sure why not! He decided to do a straight cut. It really suits me, and as I usually straighten it (I have naturally curly hair), it looks amazing. (And it looks like it’s been cut with a laser beam. He does it free hand as a fantastically skilled hairdresser.) In the rare occasions I let my curls live their life, they also come out really good. I cannot recommend George enough, and I also want to give Anna a shout out as she did a fantastic wash finishing off with a cold rinse. It felt amazing. Thomas is an incredible advanced hair stylist! From the moment I sat in the chair, he really took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and understand the vision I had in mind. What I appreciated most was how reassuring he was throughout the entire appointment. He explained each step of the process clearly, which made me feel really comfortable and confident in what he was doing. On top of being highly skilled, Thomas is super friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. The end result was exactly what I hoped for he absolutely nailed the look I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers amazing results!

If you want to surprise yourself with great results book yourself in for a haircut with George at Harrods Hair & Beauty Salon. He is definitely one of the best hair stylists in town. I went to Harrods Hair & Beauty Salon yesterday 28th April 2025 as my hair needed attention and I couldn't be joyful! George was friendly, listened carefully to what I wanted, and even offered suggestions that really worked for my hair type. The cut looks stunning and has been so easy to style at home. The salon was classy, prestigious, relaxing clean bathroom nearby. He understands your what you exactly wants and he cuts the hair with confidence. He is a brilliant hair dresser . George crafts masterfully by studying uniqueness of the shape of your hair and face and understands weak spots and he comes with his crafted scissors to give you a nice new look. Highly Recommended and definitely 10/10 only for George. The only downside they should offer drinks complementary.
